Zia believes in the power of change and positive intent. She has helped build leaders and has impacted lives during times of crisis. Zia believes in the inherent good people and seeks to unleash this as a powerful force for making a difference to their own lives and the larger greater good.
Zia is a graduate in economics from Mumbais St. Xaviers College and has a Masters degree in Business from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Managements Studies (JBIMS). Zia worked in business and marketing across marquee organzations including Unilever, Reckitt, Monsanto, and IL&FS. She is known for building brands and creating categories as well as for mentoring and building teams and people.
Zia is an entrepreneur running her own company, Aquasail, which has pioneered leisure and corporate sailing in India and is known for its powerful leadership and team programs using sailing. Zia is a coach and facilitator (Narrative Practice, Heart To Heart, ICF (in process)) and has conducted impactful programs for Board members and leadership teams as well as large functional teams. Zia has published her first book and is a TedX speaker and speaks at leadership and boating forums. She is known for her passion for growing sailing and is committed to protecting the environment and the oceans.
Zia believes in the transformational power of the Being Centred Leadership program and lives by its principles. He purpose is to impact lives and create a more equitable and positive world.
